1 : Women can carry Knife, Lighter and Match box in Delhi Metro for Self Protection
 Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has now allowed women to carry knives of 4 inches, Lighter and  Match box inside the metro trains for Self Protection.  Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) held  a meeting on Friday morning and made the decision. 

2 Britain Appoints Sir Tim Barrow as EU Ambassador
 Sir Tim Barrow is the new EU Ambassador of Britain. He is a senior diplomat educated at the  universities of Warwick and Oxford. He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in  1986 and became the Whitehall department’s political director after succeeding Simon Glass in  March last year.

3 Indian Citizens, not residing in the country can exchange old notes of Rs.500 and 1000/- till 30th       June 
 Indian citizens, who are not residing in the Country, have good news that they can exchange their old  500 and 1,000 rupees notes at RBI offices till 30th June

4 Apple CEO Tim Cook’s Salary is being deducted due to the Loss of I Phone Sales
  Apple CEO Tim Cook’s Salary is being deducted due to the Loss in the I Phone Sales. Approx 15%   of deduction in his salary is being made. In 2016 he got the package of 60 Crores which is 10 crore     less than his actually salary.

5 World Book Fair 2017 begins at Pragati Maidan Delhi
 World Book Fair 2017 begins in the Delhi. Minister of State for Human Resources Development,  Mahendra Nath Pandey inaugurated the fair. This book fair will take place for 09 days in the Pragati  Maidan of Delhi.
